Meet Bismark Oppong
Bismark Oppong, an experienced Executive Director, is a climate leader with expertise in climate action, sustainable agriculture, climate mobility, and environmental services. With a background in Agriculture and Post-Harvest Technology, he combines technical knowledge with youth advocacy and leadership. He has represented young people in high-level dialogues where he championed youth perspectives in global climate policy.
Bismark currently serves on the Steering Committee on Human Mobility in the Context of Climate Change under the IOM–Accra Metropolitan Assembly project, helping finalize a key document to guide updates to the Accra Climate Action Plan. He also co-spoke at the launch of the Clean and Green Ghana Project, educating over 130 youth leaders on waste management, segregation, and the link between waste and climate change.

As part of Greenstoration Ghana and the Renewable Energy for Communities Coalition (RE4CC), Bismark recently supported a mission to Bomigo Island in the Volta Region, where solar lamps were distributed to 101 households, prioritizing women, children, and persons with disabilities. This effort restored dignity, safety, and hope to a community long without electricity.
