Some 35 thousand registered delegates gathered in Sharm El-Sheikh from 6 – 18 November for the biggest in-person conference on climate change since COVID. COP27 opened with a shared sense of urgency, as many speakers highlighted the devastating climate impacts that manifested this year, like the floods in Pakistan and KwaZulu Natal, in South Africa….
